Margaret J. Westin, Esq.
Margaret conducts neutral workplace investigations and training.
Prior to joining Neuvest, Margaret was General Counsel for two large Minnesota school districts, District No. 279, Osseo Area Schools and Minneapolis Public Schools. Before serving as in-house counsel for school districts, Margaret served as Assistant County Attorney for both Washington and Dakota Counties. During her service for school districts and counties, Margaret has developed expertise in the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act and employment law. In addition to her public service, she has served as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for a publically traded corporation in Minnesota.
Margaret currently serves as the chair for Twin Cities PBS’s Community Advisory Council. She has held leadership positions in the Minnesota State Bar Association Public Law Section, the League of Women Voters and other civic and arts organizations.
Margaret is a graduate of St. Paul’s Macalester College, cum laude, and Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
